Can Netflix replace the TV?

Can Netflix replace the TV?
Netflix has 180 million users and his services operated in over 190 countries. Among other Germany has 7,2 million users and the US has over 50 billion users. Since 2014 Netflix is aviable in Germany. After two years of availability Netlix became the second biggest VOD platform in Germany. But China, Syria, North Korea and Krim don`t have Netflix. Netflix released an estimated 126 original series or films in 2016, more than any other network or cable channel in that year.
In the top ten most viewed programs on TV are just football games and that means that normal TV shows are not in time anymore. German people are watching 321 minutes TV each day. But young people aren’t watching so much TV each day. Women (from 14 years) are watching 248 TV each day.

The TV was invented by the german Paul Nipkow in 1884. The first American television station started working in 1928, and BBC transmission began in 1930. Over 1 million American homes had television in 1948. The first TV satellite was launched in 1962 and in 1969 over 600 million people watched moon landings live from their homes. But the Olympic Games in 1939 in Berlin were the first big live transmission in TV history.
Today an average American family is watching 8 hours per day.
More and more people are watching TV on their smart phones.

76% of the Netflix users think that it can replace the normal TV and 24% of them think that it could replace movie theatres.

In our opinion Netflix is better than the TV, because you have a bigger selection and you can choose what you want to see and when you want to see it.
If you pick the Needful family package it´s cheaper than TV, because of the broadcast contribution.
TV: 17,50 per month
Netflix: 13,99 per month
